Discover The Southern Beaches of North Carolina's Outer Banks

The Cape Hatteras National Seashore stretches for more than 70 miles from south Nags Head to Ocracoke, and comprises 30,000 acres of natural, windswept beaches and maritime wilderness, along with historic American icons like the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Chicamacomico Historical Site, and the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum.

There are over 100 FREE public waterfront parking accesses to the Atlantic Ocean and Roanoke and Pamlico Sounds. Off-road vehicle and pedestrian access to some of the best fishing, shelling and sunbathing beaches in America are plentiful. There are over 160 local restaurants to choose from, owned and operated on the Outer Banks.
